5 year old

well, you're 5 now. you woke up the morning of your birthday, looked in the mirror and said "i look taller"!!!
You had a great birthday party, 15 kids, at auntie hope's house, cause you insisted that was the only place you wanted it. dinosaur theme, of course and everyone had a great time. you got lots and lots of cool presents. a new bike from bubby!! lots of toys and some cute shirts from auntie hope and morgie, and lissy.
on your actual birthday day you wanted clams for dinner!! you won't eat a peanut butter and jelly sandwhich but you want to eat clams for dinner!!! Uncle Kathy came for dinner and gave you tons of presents....clothes, crayons, paper, gum, plus tons more, everything you like, she knows you well.
You are loving kindergarten and seem to really like math and can figure out some math problems in your head. so i think you will be good at math!! I hope!!!

at school you told me the teacher has 3 circles on her desk....green, yellow, and red. green is good, yellow means you made a bad choice and red is really bad. you were showing them to bubby one day and she asked if you had ever been on red, which you hadn't, then asked if you had ever been on yellow and you said once. i never even thought to ask you cause you are usually such a rule follower. so the next day i asked you why you never told me you got on the yellow circle and you said "mom, that is just a conversation i didn't want to have with you" You are so funny. I told you it was ok, and no one is perfect all the time but i hope you don't get on the red.

you love, love, love coloring, arts and crafts, dinosaurs, and dinosaurs
you are a pretty picky eater, so the fact that you like clams and artichokes is amazing.
you love meat and like broccoli and grilled cheese sandwiches. apples dipped in honey is one of your favorite things.
favorite ice cream....mango sorbet
favorite show.....phinneas and ferb
favorite toy....almost any stuffed animal
still have your mank (blanket) but is is very small and in shreds, but you sleep with it every nite.

you started sunday school, with out me and don't love it but do it cause you know you have to. i think you like it while you are there, but would rather stay with your mommy.
you are starting to read and you have many site words, love, mom, mia, you, and, the lots more but i can't think of all of them right now.
you started taking my class on mondays and you are doing ok. need to work on that cartwheel.
you can keep yourself entertained with art for hours at a time.
you don't like to talk on the phone very much.
